Getting started
What is click2ink?
An online AI tattoo studio. You describe a tattoo in a chat, an AI artist draws an original design, and the design appears on a 3D figure of a body that you can turn, zoom and move the tattoo on. It's a design and preview tool: you take the result to your own tattoo artist.
Does click2ink do the tattooing?
No. click2ink doesn't tattoo anyone and doesn't book appointments. It's where you design the tattoo and see it on your body; a tattoo artist of your choice adapts it to your skin and tattoos it.
How do I start?
On the home page, describe the tattoo you want, tap where it goes on the small figure, pick a style, add a picture if you have one, and sign in with Google. The studio opens with your first design already being drawn. More in how it works.
Do I need an account?
Yes: the studio is for signed-in accounts, and signing in is with a Google account. It's free, and a new account starts with 3 free credits, with no credit card.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. click2ink runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install. Your projects are saved on our server, so you can start on your phone and continue on a computer.
Can I use it in my language?
Yes. The ๐ menu at the top translates the whole site, and the AI artist answers in whatever language you write in.
Designing with the AI
Are the designs original?
Yes. Every design is drawn from scratch for your request. The library's 450+ ready-made tattoos were drawn especially for click2ink, too.
How do I describe a tattoo so it comes out well?
Say what's in it, where it goes, the style and the feel, then the details that matter to you: names, dates, symbols. "A koi swimming up through waves, Japanese style, for the calf" works far better than "a fish". Our guide to AI tattoo prompts has many examples.
Which styles can the AI draw?
Sixteen are offered with an example each: fine line, minimalist, black and grey realism, colour realism, American traditional, neo-traditional, Japanese, blackwork, dotwork and mandala, geometric, tribal, Polynesian and Maori, illustrative etching, lettering and script, ornamental and biomechanical. You can also describe any other style in your own words.
Can I attach a picture for inspiration?
Yes. Attach a picture with ๐ or paste a Pinterest pin link, and say what to take from it: the idea, its style, or that exact tattoo. A photo of a tattoo on someone's skin can be lifted off the skin and redrawn as a clean design you can change.
How do I change a design?
Write the change in the chat, such as "make the petals red" or "remove the small stars". The AI changes only that and keeps the rest, and it remembers everything you've asked for earlier in the chat. One-tap changes under the newest design do common ones at once.
Can I go back to an earlier version?
Yes. Every design keeps its number in the chat (Design #1, #2โฆ). Tap "On the body" under an earlier one to put it back, free, or ask the AI to go back to it and change something there.
How long does a design take?
Usually one to three minutes; a sleeve or a large back piece four to six. It goes on drawing on our server even if you close the page.
Why is there no white in my designs?
On skin, white in a design is bare skin, so the AI builds highlights from your skin tone and leaves open space instead. If you really want white ink highlights, ask for them in the chat.
The 3D figure and placing a tattoo
Can the figure look like me?
Yes. Choose a man or a woman, then "Make it look like me": your height, weight, build and skin tone shape the figure, and a photo of your face puts your face and hair on it. You can change any of it later in Figure.
Is my face photo uploaded?
No. The photo is read in your own browser and never leaves your device. Only a picture of the face made from it, and a few numbers for the hair, are kept with your project, private to you, and never sent to the AI or shown on a share link.
Are the sizes real?
Yes. With your height set, tattoo sizes are in real centimetres on your own body, so the size you choose in the studio is the size to ask your artist for.
Can I see tattoos on the hips, ribs or chest?
Yes. Raise the figure's arms to see the inner arms and the ribs. Underwear can be set to short or none for the hips, buttocks and groin, and on the woman the bra can be taken off for the chest and under the bust.
How do sleeves work?
A sleeve is one continuous design wrapped all the way around the arm or leg. You can shorten it, slide it along the limb, turn it around the arm and let it carry on onto the chest and back, or the hip, fading out. Read more in sleeve tattoos.
Can I try a tattoo with my phone's camera?
No: instead of a camera picture, click2ink shows the tattoo on a 3D figure that you can make like you and turn to every side. See tattoo simulators for how the two approaches compare.
Taking it to your tattoo artist
What do I bring to my tattoo artist?
A PNG of the design, a stencil printed at the exact size it has on the body (with a 5 cm check ruler), and a share link that shows the figure and its tattoos in 3D. That covers the design, its size and its placement.
How do I print the stencil at the right size?
Print the design from the chat and choose 100% in the print settings, not "fit to page". Then measure the 5 cm ruler on the printout: if it's 5 cm, the stencil is at its true size.
Will my artist change the design?
Very likely, and that's good. An artist adapts line weights and details to your skin and the spot. Treat the design as the clearest possible brief rather than a final stencil, and ask your artist how they like to work. More in AI tattoo designs and tattoo artists.
Can I share the design without sharing my chats?
Yes. The share link opens a page with just the figure and its tattoos in 3D, without the chats. Update it after changes and it keeps the same address; revoke it and it stops working.
Credits and payments
What is a credit?
One message to the AI artist: a new design, a change, a one-tap change or a tattoo taken from a photo. The library, placing tattoos, the editor by hand, printing and sharing use no credits. See pricing.
How much does it cost?
New accounts get 3 free credits. Then packs are 10 credits for $5, 50 for $20, 100 for $35 and 200 for $60, each paid once.
Is there a subscription?
No. Nothing renews and nothing is charged later. Credits never expire.
How do I pay?
By credit card, on the secure page of our licensed Israeli card-clearing company, in a window inside the studio. The card number never reaches click2ink, and the card isn't saved.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, a tax invoice / receipt by email for every payment. All your invoices are in My account, where you can also set the name, tax ID and address on them.
Account and privacy
Who can see my designs?
Only you, unless you share a link. Your designs and chats are private to your account.
Which AI does click2ink use?
The AI artist runs on OpenAI's models, which receive your messages and pictures to answer them. Your face photo is never sent to them.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Write to info@clickin360.co.il to see, correct or delete your personal data or your account. The privacy policy explains what we keep and why.
Does click2ink send emails?
We may email account holders, for example a welcome email after signing up. Every such email has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Invoices still come by email after a payment.
